This privacy policy sets out how The Futuresmiths CIC / Futuresmiths Business Support Ltd (‘The Future Smiths’) use and protect any information that you provide to the The Future Smiths after you give consent.

The Future Smiths are committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected and Futuresmiths Business Support Ltd is registered on the Data Protection Public Register of the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO). How we get the personal information and why we have it

Most of the personal information we process is provided to us directly by you for the following reason:

• as part of the enrolment / registration process for our Business Support programmes

We use the information that you have given us:

• in order to understand customer needs;

• in order to provide customers with better service;

• for internal record keeping of service delivered;

• for market research purposes.

How we store your personal information

Your information is securely stored.

We keep your personal information in the following data systems:

• Kajabi (for data hosting)

• MarketCircle (for client recording)

• Eventbrite (for event registration)

• Jotform (for online forms)

• Google (for email & documents & backup)

We keep your personal information for 12 months from the conclusion of any business support provided. We will then dispose your information by removing from the relevant data system.

 

Your data protection rights

Under data protection law, you have rights including:

Your right of access - You have the right to ask us for copies of your personal information.

Your right to rectification - You have the right to ask us to rectify personal information you think is inaccurate. You also have the right to ask us to complete information you think is incomplete.

Your right to restriction of processing - You have the right to ask us to restrict the processing of your personal information in certain circumstances.

Your right to object to processing - You have the right to object to the processing of your personal information in certain circumstances.

You are not required to pay any charge for exercising your rights. If you make a request, we have one month to respond to you.
